What you mean with solo groups? I know when I solo I don't have a group. But I hunt always in group, if it isn't with players than it is with my pets. And both give me xp, as soon as you are grouped you get xp. It doesn't matter with what you group.

If I am the leader of a 12 person group but we all do our own missions solo does the SL get XP if they are the leader? People run solo groups all the time to get higher paying mmissions.

Nope..

You have to be close enough to the person for their HAM to show up in the group list. Once they get about 200m away for a while, they'll disappear from your group list (You'll just see "NAME (out of range)", and you won't get any XP.

Let me get this straight. You get a group of 12 guys together just for the sake of getting high paying missions, and then they all scatter to the four winds to hunt solo in an effort to get more experiance and not share the money with a group. I am suprised half of them don't die then...

No, they actually have to be in range of you to get benifits for your SL abilities and for you to get SL xp for them doing damage to the critters.

I know this because last night while hunting I used Rally outside of the Force Crystal Hunter's cave when some people dragged out a few and they attack me and a group member while waiting on another group member to show up. He showed up before the Rally went away on his bike but did not have the flag for Rally on him. That was good because he was a Doc. Lucky we didn't need him to rez.

I thus conclude that to get experiance they have to be active onthe bar with their name(or not have 'out of range' under their name). This is also needed for your benifits. Same thing usally applies for doing missions. If someone is 'out of range' of the mission, they do not get the money for the completed mission. I have noticed that 80m seems to be really pushing it, but that is a rough guess.
