1,2,3,4,5 - Yes...
Please note: We have not gotten to test anything beyond the novice profs (brawler, marksman, etc). The info you have listed is from looking at the skill trees. When intermediate testing begins, and they put the SL trainer back in, stuff could change.

Assault Armor isn't "heavy." Its just Assault. Recon and Battle armor will afford just as much protection as assault armor will. Assault is stronger against kinetic and weaker against energy, recon is stronger against energy and weaker against kinetic and battle is neither strong nor weak against anything. (Could have recon and assault turned around.) There is more to the armor (its complicated) but it isn't a matter ofAssault being better than the other two types.

yeah and that actually makes since for a SL since our signature weapon is going to be a pistol, but I'd say it's the slickest looking one.

So, I haven't tried any of the TC stuff yet (philosophical differences), so could someone give me a brief run-down on what's changed for us so far? I've heard..
- Weapon Certs in the Trees. Including a badass pistol at master.
- All our same old specials & passive bonuses, in basically the same places
- Group size lowered to 8
- We now wear Assault Armor? The heavy stuff?
- No more Exploration requirement, but they left survival? But we still get Terrain Neg bonuses?

The pistol looks awesome but to tell you the truth I'm loking forward to trying the E5 carbine that looks sweet.
