I can't speak for anyone else but when I saw the CURB changes and noted we got a cool rifle, a neat carbine and an awesome pistol I was happy camper. When I saw the general accuracy, general speed, and defenses it was fantastic. When I saw the new abilities... Erm, let's not talk about that =>P

The thing of the matter is HALF of our improvements come exclusively from weapon certifications. We don't know how good any of our abilities are or how useful we'll be but hey, at least we'd look important! Now I see that every Tom, Don and Harry can use our weapons and I'm saddened.

It's not that I'm greedy and want something of my ownbut I do believe that if someone REALLY wants an item iconic to a profession they should earn it by LEARNING that profession. I know that this is supposed to make it easier to level up from novice when already well advanced into another but why do we have to foot the bill on this fix?

Oh well, I found it annoyingand figured I'd see what you folks think

Yep I don't like it. It was double wammy for me as I'm looking to Master Commando and SL. But Helios has stated most of commando weapons will be tied again to the skillboxes. Irott says he believes the Intimidator will stay cert'd at master but don't know about the E5 and the Beam.

I personally like the spread out certs and don't like the uinversals certs. This will lessen the diversity in teh game as I thought the certs brought.

I'm still curious to where we stand as a proffession. I like the mods wehave recieved but still wondering where's the beef. I'm trying hard to level up so I can work on SL boxes and test but its slow as I have to grind pistoleer or part of pistoller first in order to grind SL. That stinks. I look at Smuggler and say man they really got improved on teh combat side and I look at SL and I don't see the same improvement. Anyways maybe the skills will work phenominally but its not looking like we got the love we should have gotten.

I'm thus far disappointed because if we want to raise up SL, we may be sacrificing our ability to learn a weapon skill at the same time. Like myself, I was learning Rifles and SL. But now, that SL experience is Pistol xp. Looks like I will have to chose pistols or SL to raise. I liked the SL xp. It meant you had to group with people if you wanted to get higher in the tree. Plus, someone must have a thing for pistols. Why not either Carbines or Rifles? Smugglers and BH's already have to use pistols. Though, SL's getting weapons particular to the profession is a great idea. I just think earning pistol xp is weak. I don't get to play as much as I want to, I don't relish the thought of having to sacrifice all that weapon experience just to Master SL.
