Several weeks ago I trained in SL novice and when ever I grouped with my pets I would get SL exp. I had to drop SL Novice last week to use the points in Ranger but have since decided to go back to SL. So I dumped some of my Ranger skill tree and re-trained in Novice SL. However, now when I group with my pets I get ZERO SL exp. The only exp I get in these fights is 1 point combat exp and CH exp. Did the pet grouping exp change with the last patch? Or am I just buggy? Or does it have to do with the fact that any time I fight all I get is 1 point of exp in combat because my pistol exp is capped? Anyone know? Thanks in advance...

You're maxxed in your weapon skill xp, they now base combat xp on weapon_xp * .1 with a minimum of 1.

Squad leader xp formula: NumberOfPlayersInGroup* .5 * weapon_xp. Meaning, when you have two actual people in your group (including yourself) your SL xp will match your weapoin xp, when it is just you and your pets, your SL xp will be half your weapon xp. If your weapon xp is maxxed, your SL xp will be half of zero.

So you get half your weapon xp per person in your group. the equation doesn't take into account pets of any type.

Is this official? No, but it's true.

This needs to be addressed at the development level. Is it probably not a bug. However, I think SL was forgotten in their equations.
