Thread: The Pluses to Ranged/Melee Defense

I'm a roleplayer.


My character is Teras Kasi, and will not take up any energy based weapons anymore. I don't want creature handler, and I don't want any more medic than Novice.


Was thinking of going 0/0/4/4 SL for the +25 to Ranged/Melee defense.



Does this actually make a noticeable difference?

Do the defenses work at the moment?


Do they apply to the squad leader also

When grouped, my commando buddy couldnt hit me. He ungouped before our second duel and hit me 3 times. I am a master Rilfeman/Squad Leader. He is a master commando. I do move during combat to reduce the chance to be hit even more.


We test this from time to time now when we get some skill attachments, anew gunor the like, the SL bonuses do work dispite what others think.

Yes, it seems to work, at fort tusken last night I only got hit about 1/3 of the time, but I'm also a 0121 Rifleman so it might be just me.

Hm I was Master Squadleader /Master Swordsman some while ago and never noticed any difference when I was grouped
