I would suggest simply creating a chat room in this situation.

That way the SL's (or whoever else is leading the groups) can communicate

Works very nicely for raids with multiple groups

Anyone can join a chat channel and see what is being said, but you can moderate so only certain people can chat.

And noone ever thinks to look at the chat channels when they're being raided

Yet another post with an idea for debate. With all the talk about managing larger groups or whatnot, why not have an ability to simply talk to other SLs that you designate? Basically something similar to Guild Chat or Group chat, yet it is only for Squad Leaders who may be leading other groups you are running with. Here's the example.

You organize a large raid with multiple PAs. /group won't cover all of you.../guildchat only works with your PA not the others you have with you.....You have 3 or 4 seperate groups out there in order to get past the 20man cap and simplify control. The Head SL can now send commands to the SLs ( Or just the group leaders)of the groups in order to direct the groups..i.e. Hold your ground...Target 1 taken...Squad One, Pull Back..etc..etc..

Yes you can do this with simple tells, but do you want to have to type /tell soandso two or three times to send a command. Look at my signature for goodness sakes..Do you want to type that? OR you could seed some of your guild in each squad and use Guild Chat..But then you are also spamming anyone in your guild who isn't part of the raid..or your guildmates are not the squad leaders of the other groups.

So what do you think...Squad Leader Chat..Yea or Nay?
