Squad Leader Archive

I was thinking that since the SL is kind of like the super leadership, professional patriotsoldier type of SWG, how about a percentage reduction in the cost of faction items and pets? If we can rally players to the cause so to speak and we "command the respect", the NPC faction recruiters should love us. Clearly, this profession was at least concieved with it's benefits being geared towards pvp, I think it would fit well to get a bonus working with our NPC faction aligned folks.

Also, another idea, albiet a long term one most likely, would be a "call in air strike" command. Would it not be sweet to be able to call in a tie bomber group or Y-wing group to lay waste to a battle ground? We can already see shuttles and other assorted flying craft going by in the sky, there is surely a way that it can be set up to work with an added AOE attack. That to me would really add some realism to SWG warfare. Squad Leader is a natural choice for this imo.
