All you need is novice. SL terminal is last in line, once all the other terminals have been completed, go to HQ terminal, bring up the radial menu, and select overload.

Take five minutes and try the manual.

"Enemy bases can be removed from the galaxy by disabling them. To do so, your side must do the following:

1) Jam the Uplink Terminal (requires Bounty Hunter: Investigation II)
2) Slice the Security Terminal (requires Smuggler, Slicing I: Terminals)
3) DNA sequence the Override Terminal (requires Novice Bio-Engineer)
4) Switch alignment of the Power Regulator (requires Commando, Heavy Support Weapons I)
5) Activate overload at primary terminal (requires Novice Squad Leader)
6) Prevent the HQ from "shutdown" activate-able by any defending declared player. If the defenders are successful in the shutdown, there is a 5min "reboot sequence" before you can attempt step 5 again."

One of the reasons for the fall of the Roman Empire was, lacking the number 0, they had no way to indicate successful return from their C programs.

The manual? You mean there is useful information in there? haha- crazy.

Thanks for the help- If its as easy as making a selection on a radial menu then cool. I had heard there was some kind of puzzle, but maybe thats for the other professions.

Title says it- What level/skills do I need to take down a base and what should I expect to see and do when I open the HQ terminal?

I've been on a few base attacks, all successful when those sneaky rebels don't exploit something. I was told that SLs have to have Mobility IV and Commandos need Field Tactics III. The manual, hell even the loading pages have not-so-correct information on them so can this be verified here?
