Dude, we have been patient.. We have been patiently waiting for fixes since the game was released and nothings come out. No one tells us anything, the devs and TH don't even pretend to care any more, the Capt.'s gotten so fed up hes quite, so we're doing what the BH's and the commandos have done, cried until we get soem attention. #1 they can't ignore us for ever, #2, if they do decide to ignore us forever, that just bad business on their part, and I"ll be more than happy to take my money else where. We are paying them, they are working for us. We are the consumer, if we aren't happy, they aren't happy. I agree, calling for TH's resignation was probably a bit rash and hurried... Tempers and emotions flared when the news first arrived that the Capt. was quitting. But sitting here and twittling out thumbs while waiting for the devs to decide what to do with us (while they put in an update for BH's and commandos in every patch) isn't working.

that's my point in this thread exactly. I can't count the number of times I've logged on, and in the update text box I see "fixed an issue where bounty hunter.........." how may fixes will BH's get before other professions get fixes? I understand that they are the majority of players, but I doubt that's on purpose. I think that LOTS of the BH players would be something else if the "something else" worked as well as BH.

The original poster is right in that whatver happened prior to Friday should just be dropped and forgotten about. I do think you should be wary of these "gung-ho" correspondent people, trying to post soap box rants and rallies. It's the people who will put their foot down that need to fill the shoes. And, no, I don't think it has to be a Squad Leader and, in fact, if you want an unbiased show, you want someone who's not a SL, but does understand the classes's abilities and functions. My personal account was cancelled Friday ($15 less a month I will have to contribute to TH getting paid) and it ends on the 25th, so this will probably be my last wish of good luck. I have no doubt someday things will be fixed (they are in every game!) but the time getting there plays a factor in whether your customers stay or not. Whoever becomes the correspondent, though, please keep in touch with me - you'll need someone to say "I know how you feel."

There's been WAY too much drama in here lately, and at the end of the day it's not accomplishing anything. People flaming TH and backing Captain V, people backing TH and criticizing Captain V. Either way, all I have to say is, who cares? At the end of the day our profession is in serious need of repair, and the fact is we know little about what is currently being done to fix it. The rest of the armchair quarterbacks in this forum are wasting time and energy on asking for resignations and perpetuating negativity.

I'm a Squad Leader, and I'd like to see my chosen profession repaired so I can feel proud of my contribution to my group, so I can enjoy playing the profession. I'd also like to see this done in a timely manner. I've invested time into attaining this profession, I would hope that TH and the folks at SOE are in turn devoting some time to ensuring that this time i've spent has not been a complete waste. But when people start focusing on b.s. issues about who posted what link where, and who should resign for what reasons - we're wasting EVERYONE'S time.

I refuse to sit idlely by and watch what could be a good profession, a fun endeavour, become flushed down the toilet because of a bunch of whiny sucks who can't get on board and assist in the process. Sure we all agree that we'd like to be a little more "in-the-loop" with what SOE plans to do, or is currently doing with our profession, but at the same don't forget who sets the timetable here. It's SOE, not us. And If I was at SOE, i'd say "The hell with you all, let's just put this annoying group to bed" and deprecate the whole SL profession completely.

So TH, I propose this, meet us in the trenches in the DMZ, give us some insight as to a timeline for fixes to our profession. Be general, be honest, I could care less if you said February because as they say in G.I. Joe "knowing is half the battle". As an SL i'm willing to assist in anyway I can, be positive, and contribute, but this has to be a joint effort from BOTH SIDES. Many of us will refuse to bang our heads against a brick wall if there is ZERO communication from the folks at SOE regarding our profession. And I would dare say TH would rather spend time assisting a group of individuals that simply followed directions as he's asked, and returns positive, concise, constructive feedback. I'm not saying this hasn't been done, but it only takes one or two AWOL soldiers to ruin the morale of the entire Squad.

So, I ask that we work with TH and I ask that TH work with us - productively, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Stow the drama soldiers! Paint the target, and finish the mission!

If you think he's gonig to read this you are mistaken. I have asked for a simple post several times, and I have gotten no response.

Well, I'll give the benefit of the doubt. If no response at all is given this week, I'll feel differently. Sitting in the corner and pouting about it is not going to get us anywhere. When someone doesn't pick up the phone, you call again.

BTW, complaining and yelling is how BH, and Commando's got fixed. take a look at their old posts.

Obviously previous requests have fallen on deaf ears, but what I'm saying is asking for resignations and being negative in general is not going to fix our problems. We don't have the same number of people as BH's or Pistoleers. So a handful of people yelling in a corner is just annoying, not a motivator to get anything done. If complaining in this forum hasn't done anything at all, then perhaps utter silence is an option. I prefer to take a couple more kicks at the can before throwing in the towel.

We do have another option, we simply surrender the profession en masse and leave it unused if we feel zero is being done. There are plenty of other professions to choose from in a greater state of usability.
