You all sound like a bunch of babies!! Why don't you quit your complaining and just play the GAME. Thats all that it is a freaking game. If you don't like the profession go for somthing else. Also I read that cry baby correspondant post how he quit because they were not listening, what a bunch of crap!!! If that guy would have just followed the directions the class would not have been "broken". I think that SOE and Verrant(sp?) have created a great game.

Then, after you have realized that we play this profession because it defines our play style, and that we expect some dev attention after they have promised and promised, you can shove that chair up your **edit**ing ass.

I am trying to play the game. I am trying to play a class that was written into the game and not working. I am trying to submit REQUESTED feedback on that class to make it better. Even if CV had "followed the directions" guess what? We would still be broken. You obviously have no clue about this class or the problems it is facing. My suggestion would be do some research before opening your mouth next time.

Yes I also agree that SOE has created a great game, but I have problems with them promsing something or creating a class and then choosing to neglect it over time because it didn't come out the way it was supposed to or the way the player community wants.

Abiram, you need to understand that most of us bought the game, and pay a monthly fee to play the game for the reason of being a squad leader. the type of player that takes SL for a profession is different than your soloing, grinding kind of player. The frustration you see, and the agnst that we feel is wither directly, or indirectly caused by who we are being treated. Most of us feel that the purpose of a MMORPG is to get together with other players, and go adventure. not go solo the entire time. If I wanted that, I'd be playing Jedi Acedemy. We feel, and this is just opinions here, so lets not get degrading, that the Squad Leader profession should help in grouping, and make players want to work together. other games have classes like this, and they have many benifits for other characters to group with. The problem with SL in this game, is that there really is no major benifit to being with a squad leader, hence we have no purpose, since all our skills are geared towards group play. Please understand this, since we are only trying to play characters that HELP the community. that'sour only purpose as Squad Leaders. As for the SL's that read this thread..Let's not go where many of us have gone this weekend. Let's show our true leadership, and start being more proactive, and positive.

I totally understand what you are talking about, but it made me sick reading all the people that were kissing the correspondants butt. It seemed like every other profession was getting "improvements" (you may agree or disagree with that)but squad leader was getting nothing. Thisprofession needs someone to follow the rules and then it will go somewhere.

Hello All, I know Abiram posted his remark in a very condescending way but he does have a point. The simple fact is that SL is a completely broken profession.

One recurring theme I see in allof your posts is that you feel you aresquad leaders "At Heart". I think this is GREAT. You can continue to lead your groups effectively without wasting theskill points.

Even if the Dev'sgave you a response today, it wouldstill likely take many months before this profession is fixed. I will admitI am not really knowledgeable about all the specific problems with the class. I just know when I started the game about 4 months ago, it did not really have any skills that were worth the time and skill points to acheive. If/when they fix the profession I might again look into going that route but I will admitt that I may not be the true leader that many of you may already be.

All I can say is, save yourselves the aggravation and try another profession for a while. If you dont want to give up your skill points you could always start a new character on another server. You can always stay active in these forums to try to help push the profession forward.

The one downside to this idea is that if many people quite SL that might make the Dev's even less likely to make fixing SL a priority.

Anyway, its just my opinion. I suppose I am just asking for a flame.
