Squad Leader Archive

Hello there, Ive decided to take up Squad Leader(yes, of my own free will), but Im a little confused. I see the only ability you get at Novice is the groupmessage utility, so how do I gain SL experiance? Do I simply have to start leading groups? Or is there something else Im entirely missing here. I dont want to spend a week wandering about without being able to advance at all, hehe.

Just hold the "leader" slot of a group. You will get SL experience similar to how you get Combat experience while using a pistol or a staff. The harder the mobs, and the more people you get in the group, the more XP you will get. Example. Doing a level appropriate mission based on my Carbine skills, with one faction pet, I might get 120 xp per kill. Doing Rancor missions with a group of 8-10 and I was getting 16-25 THOUSAND experience per kill.
