my first time on your forum so please be kind. I have a +7 to group terrain negotiation and I'm picking up squad leader but I my question is this. do actual speed bonuses come at intervals of 10? do I need to pick up a +3 to see an actual increase in speed or do you guys notice a change for any given level? Also I have +9 to volley fire bonus. any chance you guy sknow what this will equate to in an actual attack percentage bonus?

The TErrain negotiation mods are continuous, ie. you will see a very tiny improvement in a +1 bonus. But, the bonuses cap at +50 (Individual bonuses & group bonuses), beyond 50 it improves your crawling speed (not your traveling speed). As a Master Squad LEader already gives a +50 to everyone in the group, further bonuses are unnecessary (except to non-masters).
As for the /volleyfire, we *think* it reduces fail rate, not improves accuracy.

honestly i am unsure as to the effects of GTN past +50
I personally have mods that boost me up to +75 GTN and people have honestly said they notice a difference between when i wear my modded equipment and when i dont, as far as when they are moving up slopes and whatnot.
Ive never really figured that one out to be honest. Maybe that should be the question of the week. Does GTN past +50 make any difference due to the coding limits on TN?

Its all TN. 1-50 affects your slope movement. 51-100 affects your crawl movement. Over 100 has no effect. So if you had someone with zero TN, you had the +60 from MSL and +25 from tapes they would all crawl really fast (having the equiv of +85 TN)
