Thread: Am I the only non-spamming SL?

I hear of alot of SLs who spam the same things over and over again. I can only see you doing this if your a non-combative SL. But why spam your attacks that also spam in spatial? If something is yelled out in spatial that needs to be heard, they have to scroll up to see it unless they actually see the guy yell it.

I personally think its a dumb idea and a way to get SL Hurt then helped. Unless the Devs add an option to take out the voice chat.

People spam Retreat every 28 seconds (?) to give groups constant burst run. That's a HUGE advantage in combat, and you can't at all claim it's non-combative. Also, I use FormUp like a madman, as soon as any single member of my group has a Stun or Dizzy on them. Throw in occasional SteadyAims to keep from getting bored, and it's quite reasonable to see a Squad Leader constantly yelling out commands in spatial.

And for the record, no one is getting warned for shouting personal commands in spatial. They're getting warned over the shouts that come mandatory withour skills. "Form up, you slimeballs!" "I'll hold them off, you get out of here!" "Stay on target...". People see those being constantly shouted and think we're spamming random sayings, except we have absolutely no control over them.

Ya after I made this post I saw that those who did it were being let off. But I also saw one example where someone was spamming one of those three commands every 2 seconds.

I am well aware of that. But that doesn't stop them from being /yelled.
