Is there any way to trim these down some? I generally run a steady aim/formup/retreat macro in PvP and just hang out on the back spitting out orders and not shooting at all.... But I've had a few people voice small complaints about the sys message spam..... I know it's going to be there no matter what, but is there any way I can drop it down to just a "." like I do with my shouting?
Lol, wish I didn't have to yell either..... hehe, makes me an easily identifiable target to anyone who realizes how good the bonuses from an SL can be....
But yeah, any way to shorten up the sys messages your group gets from Steady Aim, Form Up, Retreat, whatever other skills as well?

you can set the message for steadyaim (believe its /setsteady) and /formup (/setformup) but not retreat. You highlight the skill in the skillbox and it gives you the actual / command for setting the message.

Unfortunately no. You can, like DiLune said, use those commands to adjust the Spatial spam, but the System spam is unchangeable.

Whoops, yeah, sorry. No way to adjust the system spam. (its been a surprisingly stressful day so I just shot off stock answer #15 without reading it closely.)

And for the record, you can indeed set the message for Retreat with /setretreat.

I yell "DOUBLE TIME" instead of the retreat spam. Its shorter and the garbage about me holding anyone off used to get me laughed at.
