Thread: I did it! Dropping Master Squad Leader finally!
Once again, another patch. No update. I really wanted to be a Squad Leader too. Since JulyI worked really hard for it... Well, until I started getting 10,000XP per kamurith I killed on Dathomir. Then I got master pretty easily and it wasn't very hard at all. Thanks for that "XP Fix" devs!
I'm the leader of my guild. I wantedto bethe military leader.Gainrespect. Have people call me sir.Have people salute me. It was fun.And being unique is fun. Being a SquadLeader was had role-playing values with me, I loved it. I enjoyed being aSL and telling everyone how broken anduseless the profession was and having people come up to me andask me why I'm a SL. Butman... enough is enough. What a waste of skill points. I hung around for as long as possible. I just have to drop it for so many reasons.
One of them being I was leading a group of 5 people two nights ago and all us got owned by a buffedMaster Commando. We gotjumped. Not all of us were ready. I'm 4/3/3/3 in Carbineer and I was buffed along with another guy. Not everyone was a master in their weapon profession but what the hell? We could of taken him. We should of. We don't suck *that bad*. Doesn't Squad Leader give me any benefits when fighting in a group? I guess not cause he killed all of us. (He might of had some help from theNPC Imps and AT-ST's but I'm pretty sure they didn't hit me) Gotta love that fire. -500 health every 5 seconds. Gotta love the balance in this game. Gotta love howbadly SL's suck. He was able to heal himself too..probably had that fast heal ability. He was good.
Anyways, I gotta start getting my cool "mastered profession" badges and maybe working towards a profession that works and helps me kill someone when we outnumber the guy 5-1. I mean look at me! Squad Leader and Carbineer! Could I possibly be any worse off? I gotta drop one, and I'm gonna drop squad leader.
Give me a master commando in my group anyday. Throw the SL to the side of the road. Useless useless useless... Come on guys, just give up. Master a whole lot of professions, kick some ass, and come back to SL in ayear. That's what I plan to do because I know SL can't bebroken forever... but it's gonna be a looooooong time until then. We have time to move on and master other professions and be more useful to our guilds and friends. They need us to heal them, or kill thingsto protectthem.Make things for them. Not just sit there with a cool SL title doing nothing at all and having no use to them whatsoever. We have to stop being so selfish. If you want tobe part of a team, then be part of a team! But be useful! I've realized this. I hope you guys do to.
