Thread: i found another /aimfor reason!!
if anyone has seen LOTR: return of the king then heres a reason for /aimfor
remember when the rohan riders were instructed to fire at the elephants heads?
they did and it came downnnnnn
Yeah, but considering this is Star Wars I had in mind the scene that seems to get compared to that.... Instead of thinking of falling Oly-Fants, think of AT-STs and AT-ATs falling because a Squad Leader instructed that his team /AimFor Legs!
I'm pretty much ready to dismiss any argument that it would "take away from the uniqueness of other professions". Just because a sniper prefers to aim for the head and a gunman takes the body shot doesn't mean you can't take a pistol bullet in the head or a rifle round through the leg. The point of a Squad Leader is to get you to do something you normally couldn't or wouldn't do based a specific strategy or tactic.
