ok right now i'm a novice carbiner, my idea is to master scout carbiner and possibly squad leader, i just have a few questions
1) will sl be able to give bonuses to squads of fighters when jtl launches?
2) andare the abilites ofa sl really worth having in a group?
i mean i've never been in a group with one and i haven't experienced the fool worth of a sl. i've heard mixed emotions from other players about the profession. i just wanted the opinion of those who are already in the profession right now....

JTL is going to ship without any ground ties (except for the obvious ones).
This means that anyone can start flying as soon as the expansion launches.
But, this doesnt imply that such changes will not be made in the future.
It is an idea I support strongly and I pushed for it long before I was aware of the answer I just gave you above.
As for the SL profession itself... well, it is played differently by every player. There is no "best" way to play it.
Everything will change though once the Combat Upgrade goes into effect. So even if you do choose to play a SL now, it will be a different play experience in the future.

SL can make a world of difference, but it is important to realize that it isn't so much about making you better as making those you group with better. Any squad leader should ask him/herself the following questions.
1) Do I like helping others?
2) Is it okay if I don't deal the most damage or shoot fastest?
3) Do I like to help formulate a plan and guide others through that plan?
4) Do people trust my judgement?
If the answer to these questions is yes, then SL maybe right for you.
Please sign on the dotted line.
