I just picked up SL with my alt, as a doc I'm used to the negative effects of rally, no dragging, rezzing etc. I know it also stops TKAs meditating.
So, I'm wonderings, is it worth using? I've been told it doesn't do anything positive at the moment, is that right?
Any info would be much appreciated

I don't think anyone really knows what it really does. Through susspously it's like a longer lasting steady aim.. Through I rather stick with spamming steady aim then go with the rally.

All your skill questions can be answered through Oberon's nice little post on the subject. It's one of the sticky's at the top of the list of threads. Here's a clicky for your convenience

I think the last time we were in the patch notes it was something like:
"Squad Leader xp adjusted."
We all know how much fun that turned out to be.

Thanks, I'd read the thread you linked to, but the post is a few months old, and that's plenty of time for the devs to have broken something.
Can anyone confirm that rally still works as listed in that post?

As far as I'm concerned, they haven't messed with our profession since then. Heck, I don't even remember when we were in the patch notes
