Thread: Does volley fire trigger weapon dots?

I was trying to test this last night, but I didn't have enough people or reliable dot-weapons to get a good test. I'm trying to figure out whether or not you could use it to have a squad equipped with dot-weapons rapidly hit each target with their dot using volley fire. (to stack several similar dots on each target quickly)

Sure does. My guildmate on Naritus has a Nice little carbine with a DOT (Action poison w/ strength >900) and each time i do volley fire with my alt it puts the poison on. So yeah it does.
