Im not a SL, but by what I saw, you guys are getting screwed over by the extreme use of buffs.

Once, people used to stand outside the coronet starport and shout the forming of a naff hunt. Now,its so rare,you have make sure your not joining a solo hunt. You litteraly have to ask if its a solo or group hunt...

Solo groups have no need for SLs, and that's a shame.

So either ask a way to fix this through SL revamp, or ask for it to be fixed through Doc revamp, but at least ask.

Are there even any hunting groups left???

I've just recently taken up SL to help in PvP battles and actually, I'm more thankful for buffs now than I've ever been as a pure combat prof.

One simple example: My quickness buff had dropped and I hadn't realised. I hit retreat and my entire action pool vanished! As soon as the buff is reapplied, I can use it as an almost permanent burstrun for my team.

Sure, this might not be directly as intended. As a rifleman (my main prof) I was actually quite looking forward to the HAM rebalance despite the fact that it would make life more difficult (with regards to the use of specials, etc). As a SL, it sends a shiver down my spine to think that many of my commands will be very limited use becuase of the HAM costs....

Just my early impressions on the matter.

Well buffs have messed up quite a bit in this game... but there are many things you just couldnt do without buffs (and this includes a full group).

Two things that we will look at in the CB is how our HAM is going to be buffed, and how our HAM usage/damage will work. Both of these should be touched in the balance and will change combat as we know it.
