in one of the stickies there is talk of setting up aliases. Can these only be used by a SL? and can they only be used in /sysgroup?

the concept of having a different color text in guild chat is appealing to me. certainly helps to get a message out mixed in with all the chatter.

Alias can be used by anyone for any command or speech. Colors can only work in system messages OR signs and stores. NOT guild chat or group chat. You could have it say different things in guild chat by just a / command like if you type: /alias tt /gu hey guys whats up?

then when typ /tt that would show up in the guild chat. I like Alias better then macros though at times because i don't have to hold down **edit** and what not (not a big deal i know but it can slow you down in pvp).

thank-you for clearing that up. I was beginning to think that I couldn't follow easy to use instructions... whew
