I dropped Master Squad Leader. I've had it since I started and I just dropped it the other day. But I have a reason.
I was in Anchorhead doing rebel missions and was TEF'd but I drove into the city slowly, watching for red dots... nothing was there. So I left my bike out and went in the basement for new missions. Next thing I know my bike was destoried and my Health bar was going down. I ran my ars out of there and just kept running and running. Two IMPs were on my tale but I got away form them.... then they got on their bikes, caught up to me and hunted me down, I kept them at bay for a while. But after 2K in running they finally took me down.
At the time I was a BH/MSL buffed. My Squad Leader skills did nothing to help me and my BH did almost none against a Fencer and andother BH. So I decided to give up SL completely so I can go back there one day and kill them all! /evilgrin
well, I was struggling with what professions I should do. I never tried Brawler before and decided to go with that.
Master Brawler, Master Swordsmen and whatever else I felt like.
But then... I went to the Corvette. Almost a Master Bralwer and working on Nov Swordsment I still had all my SL skills. Of course we died alot but we knew what we were doing. Some of us had uber wounds and others weren't so bad so I used /boastmorale while the TKM meditated off their wounds. And with lots of luck WE BEAT IT all because of /boastmorale!!!!
so needless to say I am not dropping all of SL at the moment. I am content with Master Brawler/Master Swordsmen/Squad Leader 0/0/4/4 <---really uber PvE template and can do some damage when a Master SL isn't around. I might pick up master again... depending on the revamp (if it ever comes).
/cry I'm going to miss my Feild Commander title...

I know how ya feel..
I gave up MSL to get 0300BH/Master Carbineer, with 3134 SL...
It's sad.. but honestly, I finally accepted that there's really no point to much of SL, except Role-Playing..

Yes. What also did it for me was a raid in Theed. They didn't want me to be the leader of the group because they had a covert Bot sitting behind the spaceport running a macro. what's the point of SL then? Why not do that with an army of people... /nexttarget /headshot3 /headshot3

SL was the first profession that I really went after too. Iloved SL, but had to drop it for medic skills. I am now a MCM/fencer and I am going to drop Combat Medic to become a MF/Ranger. (Poisons just cost to much.)
