Rally is supposed to give a bonus to accuraccy, but if you use it you will piss off your friends/allies, as I believe it preventseveryone from using healing abilities.

Boost Morale averages wounds between the group. For example, if you have 200 health wounds and 50 mind wounds, and I have 30 action wounds, after using Boost Morale we both would have 100 health wounds, 15 actions wounds and 25 mind wounds. In most situations, it sucks. It is useful when in a situation when you can't heal wounds and comboed with a TKM - say on the corvette.

Formup - remove dizzy and stun, very nice.

Retreat - gives everyone in group except you a free /burstrun.

Rally doesn't prevent healing, it just counts as being in combat. That means no harvesting, no meditation, no resuscitation, etc. until rally wears off. It doesn't really give a noticeable bonus, but if you can tell that the fight's going to last at least another 30 seconds and don't expect anyone to die in that time, feel free to use it.

Boost morale's actually pretty useful. If you've got a combat medic in your group that's healing mind damage constantly, they'll need you to use this to spread the wounds out so they can keep doing it in a prolonged fight (they take lots of mind wounds when they use it). Also good for saving people from death by disease or fire (sometimes).

Good to know it doesn't prevent healing, thanks.

Oddly enough, we've found that a combat medic with a dance buff doesn't need to worry about their mind wounds. It seems once your wounds hit your unbuffed stat, you stop acculating them, so with a 100% buff you'll still have half a bar to work with. Depending on the circumstances, you're better off not boosting then.

Retreat is the most useful PvP skill if you ask me. When the battle begins use retreat, evreyone in your group can get to the CM's behind the lines and take em out, quickly.

Actuly we do. With both dancer and musician buffs, 2 doses of brandy and 3 anshiras your still taking heavy wounds and bf. Though the wounds stop when your base mind stats hit 1 the bf still accumulates. I'm also a sl and usualy when I boostmoral I get more grief then it merits
