Thread: simple but effective idea to boost SL

how about allow groups lead by an SL to have more players in it? at certain places in the SL trees, they would gain even more, capping out at MSL with having 30 or 40 group members maxinstead of just 20 max.


as i'm here more, you'll learn that this is how my ideas come...random, disorganized, unplanned thoughts. i will put them here (even disorganized)to give the real planners and thinkers another idea to branch into. i honestly don't want to take the time to think out specific systems for the game. but i will give ideas.

Anythiing past 20 in a group is far too high, you wouldn't be even able to fit all their bars on your screen so it would be a mess. what needs to be done is have SLs be able to assign special sub grounds with other group leaders aka "Platoon" and work like that. I hear DAOC has something along the lines as that does.

that certainly wouldn't be a bad idea either....have the top person be able to delegate out smaller groups to other SLs in the group. say that a MSL can make 5 other groups, he assigns the other groups to other SLs in the group (maybe even in form of drag and drop of the group members names as if items into a pack). Then each sub-group can only have up to 5 others in it, and the other 14 spots of the group can be filled normally. numbers change accordingly for skills. the "Head Leader" is the one who gives the passive bonuses, but each sub-SL is the one who issues ability commands for this squad.
