Yeah I did Sl back before holo grinding started and must say I enjoyed it. Lately I have been playing these FOTM templates and well I'm getting kinda of sick of them. I decided to grind SL back with along with master marksman and Master rifle. Well to get to the point I have a few questions if anyone is up to answering them. I have also read all the stickies so I won't or will try not to ask anything that was covered there.
1) Should I be on the look out for stead aim attachments? I figured out of the SEAS that are for us this one seems to be the only one worth while collecting.
2) Any tips on when to use steady aim so it can benfit the whole group... I know u have to time it right with other peoples specials so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I really want to get the hang of, it cause my group often runs into jedi and melee stackers.
3) Does the melee and ranged def go over the 125 cap?
4) How far away do I have to be so I can use form up and the entire squad will get healed?
That's it any info would be awesome. I hope to be posting here about my battles as a SL and hoping I'll enjoy my time as this proffesion.

1) You might want to pick up steady aim attachments, at least untill you get the +10 in the third teir. Don't spend a fortune, as it isn't a critical difference. (At least for now. Who knows, with the revamp comming up.
)
2) Use steady aim if you have HAM to spair. Yelling "Ok, use specials...... NOW!" and hitting /steadyaim isn't all that effective, but, especially if they're buffed, people will be using specials preaty much 24/7.
3) As of right now, I believe the answer is yes, but with the combat ballance, who knows. (MOD, I hope so...)
4) You mean "cured of states?" It is either 256m, or planetwide. I'm not sure what the Devs have it set at at this moment.

Nice to be able to do steady aim while moving, unlike aim which brings u to a stop. Anyone know how the mods for it add to your ranged? Would it be like if I had 170 rifle acc would I get 180 that shot? Cause of the +10 steady aim bonus......

So far all SL powers work planet-wide.
Don't worry about trying to time /Steadyaim it doesn't erase any combat que's so just whip it out when you feel the need.
Yes thats the one powerful thing about SL's is that they can push your melee and ranged Def over the 125 cap to 155 if they are MSL.

I'm not sure what the steady aim bonus actually translates into when it comes down to the numbers, but I do know having +25 in attach helps incredibly when group takes advantage of it. Specifically (only reason I got the attachs) when used against Jedi. They have almost no chance to deflect the shots like they normally would
Oh, it probably won't cost you much at all to cap attachs as there is almost no demand for them. (maybe even less than 500k to cap steady aim)

Thanks guys for the information and quick responses. So far I'm really enjoying SL. Hope to get those steady Aim attechments soon. Just nice I guess staying back and playing a support role instead of being a def stacker running in hehe.
