The concept is great, but I think your over complicating things. Just give the SL the ability to see each mission waypoint arrow, and for the love of Pete give us a range ticker.

Great idea though.

I live in this world. I exist in my own.

Does anyone elsethink its annoying when you have a group with 10 people in it all with 2 destroy missions and your trying to run from 1 to the next and someone is saying hey mine is 100m west, or I can see one of mine on that hill etc etc.As far as I am awareyou can'temail a mission WP to someone else. Well my idea is for SL's to be able to recieve mission WP's from members of his squad. With this you can see all the WP's and how far out they are, you can methodically plot a course around the area completing missions in an efficent manner instead of criss crossing the land in a semi random way.

This idea could be expanded to give WP ranges under the arrows on the screen, or listing the WP's in the datapad by range, or direction. It could even be set up so that if you have say 15 WP's stored for missions then you give them an order to be done in. Only 1 WP at a time is activated, when that particuler mission is finished then the next WP in line will activate. Kind of like going A ---> B ----> C etc etc.

Would like other SL's feedback on this please.

I agree. That sounds like a pretty cool idea. I also get annoyed when I have to stop, double back, and go to someone's closer POI, only to find out that it was 50m closer than my own.

It would be nice to REALLY know how far away people's missions are, but because missions move and people lie or miconcive, it probably will never happen. Whenever I lead a mission group, I pick a player order, then we do one of those players missions down to the last guy, then start from the top and owrk our way down again. This ensures that most everyone will get at least one mission done before they leave/go ld. Ive seen plenty of times people leaving after we do both of thier missions.

Another Idea that would be good would be to be able to split your group into segments. I.e. 20 man group divided into 3 sections. Have a skill at master that allowed you to /vollyfire which segment that you wanted. This way you could designate the main group for a specific target and a secondary group for any ADD's that you may have.

A complicated solution is to have everyone guesstimate the waypoints by using the world map(move the mouse to the point of the orange mission marker) then everyone tell you theres and you make your own waypoints there. This will let you see the the general area of all the missions. Just run to your next waypoint and have people tell you what the actual target is then.

Herderman, you cannot drag and drop 'mission' waypoints and send them to other people currently. My idea was to allow it for squad leaders and they recieve the whole squads missions.

yes there is a way to see the other people's way points...

have them tell you the way points....then you type in /waypoint 214 -1234, or whatever the cords are. then you can see that waypoint.....only with a blue arrow.

As far as I know all it says is 1503m North or whatever, it doesnt say the location of your missions as a X,Y location.
