Sorry guys but i was doin really slow towards SL (btw my secondary proffesion was already architect so you know how much 'free' time i had) but then suddenly i noticed that i had almost all the skills for CH. So i decided to switch just to see how fast i could hit CH as opposed to SL and sure enough i hit it THAT DAY! So i caved and i don't think im focusing on SL anymore. Maybe if they make it more worthwhile but right now it isn't worth the dedicated effort. Also i can't do the test server as architect takes almost all of my time... Sorry to let you down but i still agree that this proffession forum is one of the best (The CH one sucks, lots of complainers lately). And Volatris is still the man. :-P

Pikeman : The only class that couldn't hit the ground if they dropped their weapon.
Pikeman : Doing massive damage; to the air surrounding our target.
Pikeman : You're dead meat, unless you happen to be standing in front of us.
Pikeman : Because the devs were one profession short.
DEVs : Pikeman? Thats a class?

I'm afraid that is a growing trend lately, and I believe many folks (with the exception of us folks have been gung-ho Squad Leader since the class's announcement) have chosen that route. But with the recent post by a Dev (and shoot me because I can't remember the name) about how pets are getting extreme "nerfs", I think the trend will dissipate with time.

I just wanted to let you know that i am still aspiringot be a squad leader. I am gonna dedicate my time to al my professions equally in terms of xp gain. Its slow and tedious but overall it will make me a well rounded player. Currently I am a pistolier, riflemen, fencer, scout, about to get into squad leader tiers so keep a look out for me if your on ahazi. later

im more of a role player at heart, thana power gamer. I was gong to go BH, but i found that the thing i enjoy most in this game is being in the rebel faction and fighting tough /cons with a group. BHs mostly go it alone and it seems to be the most messed up class w/ the hardest reqs.

even if the skills of this class do not lead to maximum dominance, it seems logical for char development if my goal is to be a rebel leader.

We really don't need a ton of squad leaders, it's good to keep them few an far between. There are very few people with the courage and dignity to step up to the plate and take one for the team. And there are very few with the actual ABILITY to lead. I've been under the command of a squad leader who spammed /sysgroup messages as well as many other macros and it got extremely annoying.
