Basically rager is getting fixed becuase ot this line:

1. We aren't unique.

"Rangers have very little that differentiates them from scouts. Once Master Scout is reached, Ranger is essentially more of the exact same thing."

Squal Leaders are not differant than ANYTHING. One you reach ANYTHING suqad leader adds NOTHING.

Patience my friend. Your report will come. If ours over in ranger is any indication, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

You know I'm NOT pissed ot anything. Just saying that if the 'TEST' is be differant for other professions, then CERTAILY SL is the LEST differant.

1. We are different than ALL classes. We are completely broken

2. We are unique. And soon extinct

3. When we reach Novice SL the owrld changes, and we are soo different from all other professions..We can send raunchy messages that comes on the middle of the squads screen!1 woopeedoo!!

4. We have to coolest title in the game!

uhm..there was a 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and a 10..but before I could type those, I noticed the light in the end of the tunnel vanishing, and a depression greater than the GREAT depression..or was it recession..or..uh..its getting darker.

I'm a quarter through ranger and a novice squad leader, biding my time to see which one gets fixed best before I ultimately commit myself.

Sure, the comments over in ranger made me want to go start working my ranger skills, but let's wait and see what they have to offer squad leader. Those changes over there are HUGE and highly functional if they work right. Perhaps the changes to squad leader will be similarly huge and functional. Can't we all wait just a few more days?

I just hope that our response is as good (or better) than the Ranger's...

Lets just say, it will be the deciding factor on whether or not I switch to EQ2

thougth rangers where an elite class not an advanced profession like Squad leader but an elite class of rangers? elite I thought ment more of the same only better...

It would appear that the changes you can expect are directly related to the type of report your correspondent files...

Mineras the Ranger Corr.. sent in a kick-butt report and it turned some heads...

Go read some of the other reports sent in by other professions and you'll see why they didn't get much in return.

That is certainly one correlation you could make Xion, but not the only one.

Another perspective is that perhaps rangers got more of a response than other professions because the Dev Team knew that the Ranger Profession was severely ill-equipped and required more attention.

Who's to say if either of us is right? My point is only that we, the end user, have no mechanism for understanding the process used in determining class balance.

It's not like anyone chose their own correspondant profession anyways, it's no professions fault if they got a bum correspondant.
