Thread: I predict that several of the new abilities will be revoked
No, I am not yet a SL, I need my 4th ranged skill and the Squad Leader box. I am thrilled that this profession isreceiving so much attention!
I am alsovery worried.
I envision whole PAs who leave their accounts logged in to be leveled by the resident Squad Leader while they are all AFK. The scenario has worse implicationsfor PVP. I hoped that SL changes would lead more towards things suggested by the correspondent than turning PCs into SL pets. One of the specific things brought up was that SL enhancements should not take control away from group members.
The new ideas are incredible, but I didn't evensee one of our largest issues addressed, that SLs gain skill through combat experience.
Don't get me wrong, the plans are incredibly cool... but it is the kind of incredibly cool that I see stripped away later. My prediction is that these skillsbe abused by a select few and thus despised by a great many.
