I've read most of the recent posts and from what I understand is that nothing works....

I've been wasting my time getting SL points when I could have been doing something else....

What started out as a weak profession is complicated by non-working abilities, even novice chefs have more to offer then a Novice SL...no bonuses just for chooing this path..oh wait /sysgroup = /groupchat. Big Whup. You can't even macro /sysgroup to make it effeceint to use. All you have to do is hit ctl g to send the same message quicker. /rally doesn't work. /volleyfire doesn't work. attrubute bonuses don't work. /boostmorale dosen't work. I know I'm missing some but I haven't mastered the profession yet.

We all chose this profession because we wanted to be the leaders, the first ones to step on the battlefield and the last ones to leave if I may poorly quote Mel Gibson. I believe that we are the ones in the context of this game may be the ones that you would most call (Helper). And as far as adding content to this game the ones who would organize and lead the most sucessful raids and hunts.

I have just gotten into this profession and can't believe how many players want you to lead and join your hunt just because you chose this profession and I felt like a jerk when I had to tell 20 others that ....

'oh, uh thanks for letting me lead you all up here to the NE corner of Tattooine but yeah, none of the bonuses you were hoping for work, oh and thanks for the SL exp by the way...oh the last spot on the group was between me and a ranger. Sorry again that it took 20 min of running around up here to find what we were looking for...oh and thanks for all the heals everybody.'

Seriously, not only did I feel like an ass but I also felt like I owed everybody in that group an apology. Other players are willing to sacrifice to keep the SL alive in a group and I've got nothing to offer them. It is truly great to see the team work that a SL can bring together in this game.

I really still want the experience that this can bring and so do others...just look at all these posts. We are the glue of the universe here...I've submitted any bugs that I've found using the Holocron (ctrl H) and now here. Let the Devs know how important this profession is to the game and the community. We are not just a bunch of selfish BH or Commandos looking for a quick PvP kill or to take down a squill lair. We want to take back Fort Tusken, clear the Squill Cave and then take down a couple Kryats all before dinner gets cold.
