Thread: Ok well enough is enough
Alright well hardly anything works in this profession... still. I'm getting tired of waiting... I think SWG just lost another Squad Leader.
Simple fixes like this should not talk this long.
Well I'll say this much... it's not that freakin complicated. It's a matter of well lets see there's only 300 people complaining about Squad Leaders, but there are 30,000 people complaining that they want to nerf Knockdown. (Just an example) Ok lets forget the 300 Squad Leaders and go ahead and nerf Knockdown attacks.
Gotta keep the money rolling in.
Devs are surprised it's taking this long to see Jedi? Perhaps if players didn't have to spend so much time changing from one buggy/nerfed profession to another or working around the handful of bugs and problems in the game they would have more time to play and do quests and other such things.
And yes... a response would be nice.

Why...Why do people think Vem is an employee of SOE or works for SOE? He's the poor slob they set up to hear our complaints for free. They don't even give him the courtesy of a free account.
Preach on, Father DiLune!
Another funny thing since you mention that is there are a few ill-informed individuals that are convinced beign a correspondent is the same as being employed by them and so I am not allowed to post anything unpositive and I'm also not allowed to advertise my shop because I'm obviously taking advantage of people. How I have no idea, hehe.
Maybe the fixes aren't that simple, but what's so freakin hard about communicating with us. Its certainly not the DEVs just don't post much. They apparently have enough time to post a great deal, but not here and not about us, except to nerf us or giveour skills to other professions.
These boards are powered by lithium, perhaps they mean if you read them you will need to take lithium!
Vem is right. It is just really frustrating.
Vem, if you hadto venture a guess as to when they are going toactually makes some changes, positive hopefully,to Squad Leader, what would yousay. I knowyouhaven't been told much more than us. Doesanything in the Correspondent forum we can't read give you anindication. I mean the expansion isnot due outuntil sometime next year. Do you think it will really be that long?

No. The last thing said that was personally directed at me was three weeks ago when the single SL dev told me "Only so much time in a day". Later that week we (the correspondents) were informed that Player Cities and the Politician profession are the #1 priority and that class bugs will be dealt with "as time is available."

I personally think you won't be able to consider the class complete until sometime after the expansion pack is released (pending they don't start work on another immediately). I think between now and then we can anticipate a few things here and there. See, guys, the devs to me are like I am to you. Leaving me the middle man, I can only say things when I'm told. Almost every other day the Dev's post "we've got GREAT stuff coming for every class!" and, just like you, I have yet to see that happen. We are the exact same as we were in June. Bugged, gimp, underpowered, and pointless. There really is absolutely nothing we can do to make them go faster, make us more of a priority ... ANYTHING. Yes, the day WILL come when something gets done but no, unforunately, I do not have an ETA and I can only act as a liason between the devs and you and tell each other what the other is saying.
