I've been going through the Squad Leader posts looking for what people have come up with as good macros for Squad leader. I was actually surprised that I didn't see that many here.
I thought it was about time for people to start posting macro suggestions.
The best one that I found was this:
/retreat;
/pause 20;
{loop}
Any other macros are welcome.

Basically the squad cannot be dizzy/kd for more thanfive seconds, recieves a significant aiming bonus every five seconds, and is continually burst running. Has helped significantly, although the spam is horrible.

I've heard of Squad Leaders being warned because of too much area "spamming" because of macros like that one. Has that been fixed or is there a way to prevent it?

It is my understanding that someone was getting warned by a CSR for "Squad Leader SPAM" and the guy basically told the CSR that he couldn't help it.
The CSR naturally didn't understand the concept, so the guy complained. I believe the CSRs have now been told there's nothing players can do about it and you can't get in trouble for it. I've been running it in every battle I've been in and haven't gotten a warning yet.

I dont see why SL's should get in trouble for Spammin there commands. People sit in Cnet, Naboo, and now even the Dant MO (Starsider) and spam all day afk every 5 sec for there shops. And they arent even getting any HAM taken away. Thoes people should b the first 2 get warned.

Run formup & steady aimevery 1 second for dizzy/stun cures. Retreat every 20 secs or so depending on what works. keep boost morale ready for any fire/desease.

Wouldn't the spam on that be a little too much for most people though? You wouldn't be able to tell what else is going on in the spatial chat tabs. 5 seconds even seems like a lot of chat flooding.
Wish there was a way around this...

The problem with your macro is youll incap yourself. Have you ever tried doing Rally with a full 20 person group and a set of composite of. You pretty much blow your brain out of your helmet. Also why should Squad Leaders get yelled at for something they cant get rid of? If you want to Yell at me for using my commands first you better Give Me More Commands To Spam. Anyway when Im doing PvP with my Squad the general statemtents made by the commands are cleared out by spam so why does it matter?

I use padded armor, not composite, when leading a group. I've chosen flashy colors so that I stick out for my group to know where I am.
Also, it has lower encumbrance, and with buffs, Brandy and canapé, there is little to no mind cost for rally.

Well I run around with 80% comp (36%+ stun of course). Fully buffed with 2200 (or higher) buffs, a dance and music buff, along with two bulls of brandy, I can spam that macro I made up and spam Master Head Shot with my Jawa Ion Rifle (or any rifle special for that matter) and I won't lose a single point of HAM.
This macro has turned the tide of a few battles, and lets my group chase down people who run away (not Jedi with their precious Force Run 3, of course!).

I tried out that macro this weekend and despite a stat migration that jacks up my mind, downing canape brandy and some other buff thing, my mind was gone in no time (even after I took my helemt off). I like the idea and will play around with it, maybe making the pauses bigger, but I'm afraid that it leaves me very vulnerable and I'm of teh belief that a incap/dead SL is an ineffective SL.

Form up often messes up doctors heals and cures and all their macros
Retreat messes up force run, and well that is a problem
I like most other Sl on Bloodfin just run steadyain, and when needed for certain circumstances I pop off any of the other abilities, or other sub macros i run at the same time.
and Well I have not had a problem running crazy macros while spamming strafe, but well ya need moth music and dace buff, and I take double 430+ brandy, and Ahrisa for food at 700+ and a muon if It gets rough with a Mind poison on me or something
as a leader I just make sure I dont get in my guys way, and if you are running form up, you are gonna screw up some docs. and the last thing I want is to be responsable for one of our jedi not getting away.
so keep it simple and learn to "play" your profession and not macro it.
Boost morale is only used if not in combat. usually in clone camping sessions
