Thread: I'm going to be a squadleader, any advice?

I'm gonna make one of my characters a Squadleader/BH.
Now the question is, is it worth it to become a Master Squadleader?
Usually I prefer mastering a profession over dabbling in several, but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot too badly, since I intend to use this character as leader for a group of Jedi hunters, and I will need every ounce of combat power I can get.
And if not, what template would you advise?

Squadleader is a fun profession, it takes alot of patience, and decisions you wouldnt normally make, but no matter if your not a leader in real life, these guys will depend on you ingame, just because you bear the mark of being a squadleader, so if you want the profession, pour your all into it, and give it what it deserves, good luck with SL =)

If anything, you'll be spamming /formup a lot to stop the dizzies the Jedi love to use.
Good luck in your endeavours. If you're a true Leader, Squad Leader (despite it's drawbacks) will make you giddy. Just because. hehe

Survival xp?
The fun way: Sit in a camp, get a bunch of friends to join you, maybe find a musician to entertain you.
The quick way: Sit in camp, craft camps in practice mode while sitting on rear-end.

I recommend you take up the leadership and tactics tree at the same time, that way you'll get the melee and ranged defense passives, the ability formup which kicks ass, rally and retreat. A lot of ppl hate using rally but it is good especially for commandos and melee since it gives accuracy and defense bonuses. You just have to make sure when to use it properly or else docs and scouts will hate you.
After that go up mobility, this helps with the defense stacker templates, entertainers and jedi. Finally tree is Strategy by far the weakest of them all. Good thing is boost morale if you are with a tka cause you can clear most group wide wounds in a few mins.

i'm also going to hopefully make novice squadleader this weekend (survival XP is horribly slow to get, anyone have any suggestions?)
