Thread: Ideas for Squad Leader

Everyone knows that Squad Leaders can be very useful. They would be even more useful if the profession wasn't broken. I have some ideas for helping Squad Leaders become the Elite profession that they should be, and they shouldn't be too hard to program into the game.


1. Doctors/Combat Medicsin a group with Squad Leader should get a 10% to 25% bonus on buffs, poisonsand healing speed. This should stack on top of bivoli or havla. (everyone is going to hate the CM part of this, but im assuming that this wont go in effect until they do something, if anything to balance them out)

2. Dancers/Musicans should get a 10%-25% bonus to entertainer buffs and entertainer healing. Should also reduce the time required.

3. All combat professions should get a 5% - 10% xp bonus.

4. Crafters should get +10 to experimentation with Master Squad Leader, and 5% - 10% xp bonus.

5. Scouts should get a harvesting bonus.


These are just some ideas, i wanna hear your thougths on them, and any ideas you might have on top of these. Dunno if they have been suggested before

I think this would come more into play with the JTL expansion. From what i have heard it will take multiple crafters to make a starship. Artisan/SL might become a useful build with the changes i suggested and the JTL rumors i have heard.
