ok please fele fre to shoot thios idea down in flames in a reletivly new sl so im not sure whts bene suggested before
right sls are not gonig to be npc handles ,sounds godo to me ivealready got a ch thanks i dont wnat to wind up with a seoncd one who pets are npcs instead of critters
but how aobut a master sl can call 2 droids at once (ok and also a master de sohuld get tihs ability), this shoudl be subject to the neither (or possibly just 1) of the dorids being a combat droid but we're support chrs so why not allow us to call a pair of support droids eg trap dorid and medicla droid out at once (med dorid with stim dispencer in it fior emergency in the field healing and trpa dorid to slow down critters if the squads getting overwhelmed) sure its not much of a boost but whne you consider repair droids and recharging droids then as n sl you coudl also be recharing and repairing your squads combat droids during fights to help keep your squads fighting power at peek levels (and isnt that the whoeol point of being an sl, your job in the gorup is to keep the group together and fighting as well and as effeiciently as it can)
ok my no doubt poorly thought out idea is posted over to those with more experience to pick it apart and suggest improvements

Something like this would be awsome if they put in an SL specific droid. Some sort of scouting droid or recon unit that SLs could use after, say, a third tier skill was earned.
Having two droids at master would then be very usefull, even if neither were combat.

he e ascouting dorid would be an amasing addition, say one which upon being called give s asecon radar but it shows yout heare aroudn the dorid and not that around you, add the ability to send to dorid to any point within say 1k of yourself and youve got a very useful little tool for gcw battlel and one thats handy in othere situations sure it'd ony tell you if the areas got player agros non agro in it buty knoiwngin advance if the enemys over or covert hleps a lot, likewise knowing if theres a big agro spanw near somewher you need to go whiel unbuffed is damn handy

Does anyone have Starwars: Battlefront?
Apparently the Scout troopers get some sort of Recon droid. It says it gathers information from the battlefield and brings it back. This is something that would be a great addition to SL. Though I would prefer designating a recon/point man to go ahead and gather the info, instead of an automated droid. Oh well.

The scout trooper droid is pretty cool. You basically become an arakyd seeker droid and float about the battlefield (make sure to hide your marksman so he doesn't get killed while you are "away.") You don't really get data on the battlefield but you get to move about and investigate it. You're hard to spot as well. If you feel like it you can fire lasers from the droid, but the best part is that it can call down orbital bombardment on enemy positions. Granted the droid blows up when it calls down the bombardment...but say goodbye to a bunch of enemies...

I prefer sending Jawas. They are small and fast.

Yeah... but then you have to get a CH to train them, and get like 20 crates of Jawa treats.

Oh, on that note:
How about tying abilities like the requested strategic Overhead map to Droid use. Like a new recon droid that has to be used.
It would create a bit of interdependancy with droid eingineers.
