I have a question about /boostmorale.
I am not really sure if this equally distributes DAMAGE across all members of the group OR if it distributes all current WOUNDS across all group members.
For example: if it distributes Damage equally and you have 10 people in the "squad" then each member takes 1/10 the damagefrom any attack (on any or multiple members of the group). i.e. a Krayt Dragon attacks a 10 man squad. Three TKMs engage at close range, the other seven members are ranged and/or non-combatents (healers/entertainers).The Dragon picks on one of the TKMs doing, lets say1000 points a hit, so everytime it hits - each member of the squad takes 100 points. What I'm getting at is - what about the un-buffed, un-armored non-combatents? -will they get"chewed to pieces" even though they aren't actually in combat by the Squad Leader using /boostmorale?
OR (if Wounds)
The same 10 people are grouped again. One member gets beat on by thatDragon again. He takes2000 points in wounds (he's buffed) - no one else is hurt. Would using the /boostmorale command at this pointdistribute those 2000 points equally across all members of the group? (thus allowing 10 people to keep that one person alive and heal the damage away at an acceleratedrate?)
What if this command is used when massive wounds are taken in a small group - some buffed, some not. Would the un-buffed members be incappacitated if say each members "equal" portion of wounds were say 1500 to Health?
So what does this command do? (I've experimented with it in-game and still can't tell)
Thanks to my fellow Squad Leaders for your assistence on this!

It distributes WOUNDS, not DAMAGE, amongst everyone in the group. Also, it only affects primary attributes, not secondaries.
It's also an instanteous effect, no duration. So it equalizes the wounds at the instant you use the command. You'll have to execute it again for any further effects.
The most common use is to distribute some the CM-Mind Healing effects, or to use a "TKA Farm" to meditate off wounds while you do /boostmorale every few minutes.

Warning on /boostmorale. Make sure everybody in teh group is ready to take the wounds. one time on the corvette I /boostmorale a bit early and killed like 3 guys. Oh teh shame I brought on my family. It is best used when the group is regrouping. Ideally you would have a few TKMs going at it so you can do it a few times and heal everybody up.

Well - I found out what this command really does. Yes it does equalize wounds (not damage), BUT and this is a big but...
What SOE means by wounds isn't the low HAM bars (i.e a toon with say half its health bar gone), its the BLACK part of said HAM bars they consider wounds.
That makes this command next to useless.I have never seen anything that would require equallizeing that stuff amongst a group!
....BAH, just another borked (supposedly powerful) abiliity for us SLs.

Au Contraire mon frere...
Go to battle do stuff, get wounds diseased etc etc. Sometimes there isn't a doc around to curse a REALLY NASTY POISON, a few TKs with meditate you can diffuse the wounds out enough and heal them so the guy doesn't die from triple incaps.

Excellent point.
I would assume in rough areas (Corvette, Death Watch Bunker, etc) this might be more common place. (I haven't been to either one yet). In this case I can see /boostmorale as a last ditch effort to save people from dying.
However events like this are geared towards power players. Most people who try to tackle places like these are well organized (groups including Master Docs/CMs) and go well prepared (great weapons/armor/buffs). So the times /boostmorale would be used are reletively rare. This should be a command used to beneficial effect on a more common basis.
The way I look at it, if someone (or a number of people) have Black wounds that are that life threatening - its time to use the /retreat command and get out of there. Get the group reorganized and properly healed before returning.
It's just too bad that this command doesn't allow the SL to spread non-Black wounds (i.e. normal) equally. This would be a much better ability for us to have - and used a lot more often.
