Thread: Base Strike Force: Close To Perfection? or Needs Work?

I have an idea for a strike force to attack a faction enemy base. Tell me what you think about it and what you would change and why? Your are this games Generals and Commanders and your input would be most valued to me.
1 Squadleader*
2 Commando’s* equipped with flamers and grenades
3 Pistoleer’s
1 Bio Engineer*
2 Combat Medic’s
3 Carbineer equipped with bleed and acid weapons sliced for speed
1 Swordsmen equipped with powerhammers sliced for damage
2 Terakasi equipped with vibroknucklers sliced for damage with power ups made for damage and + modifiers for pointblank
1 Fencer equipped with weapons sliced for damage
1 Pikeman equipped with weapons sliced for speed
1 Bounty Hunter*
1 Smuggler*
1 Jedi Defender
Group Two: Used for mid range support and flanking if needed
1 Squadleader*
1 Smuggler*
1 Bounty Hunter*
3 Creature Handlers/Carbineer equipped with laser carbines sliced for speed and a mixture of high energy and kinetic resists pets with specials of intimidate, stun, position change, and dizzy
2 Pistoleer’s
2 Commando’s equipped with rocket launchers, beam rifles, and grenades
2 Combat Medic’s
1 Fencer equipped with weapons sliced for damage
1 Terakasi equipped with vibroknucklers sliced for damage with power ups made for damage and + modifiers for pointblank
1 Pikeman equipped with weapons sliced for speed
4 Rifleman equipped with T21’s sliced damage with power ups made for damage and range
1 Jedi Light Saber Master
Group Three: Used for reinforcements and rear support

Well changes I'd make....
1) you don't have all the people necessary to actually slice the base to take it down. (please see Base Slicing Guide above)
2) I notice your home server is Scylla. If you are attackinf either KOTOR or Veers Elite you are gonna need Jedi as both use their Jedi(and several of them)to guard the terms.
3) each group should get a MSL because of the bonus to defense, and /formup commands.
Other than that you seem to have a well thought out attack....Can I go? (Willing to switch factions if given enough lead time)

This is why I came to you. Thank you. I am making the needed changes to the groupings now. /kowtow
I also added a Group Four for countering the reinforcements that would be coming. Is this overkill?
I will let you know when I am ready. I plan on using the Strike Force model once I have enough input on its design. Once the planning stage is done I will need to find the Strike Force Leaders here and discuss tactics. Once that is done we will test it out in a mock. My goal is to take out in quick succession four to five bases in one sitting. It can be done with planning and organization.
I was thinking of putting in a Group Five of Undeclared to be spotters. It would be a group of newbie’s that would be placed around the perimeter to report movements or conversations back to the Group Three and Four Squad Leaders to help in making tactical decisions. What do you think? Is this to elaborate to complicated?

But think how fun it would be to have a barrage of T-21 fire directed at 1 person... man they would be scared. ^_^

Fixed.
If you are taking 4-5 bases you should have a few redundancy slicers for the different terms. I can only assume based on the number you are going after KOTOR. Good luck. If I can go imperial before then I'll help...(MBH/MSL I can slice 2 terms)

I have all the redundancy I need in that format. I have left out some information to give me an edge that no one can get around. If they can get around it then I am joining up with them and never leaving!!! I have been given some great ideas in PM’s from several people who will remain unnamed for the moment. I wanted to publicly thank you for your ideas and adjustments. I also wanted to thank you for your faith in my vision and look forward to the day I can see you lead us into battle and victory. Until that day we wait, we plan, we think.
I just wanted all the folks out there to know that you will be screaming, ranting, and cussing in the forums after we are done with you. We have some battle tactics that will blow your mind. After we are done with our mission the way the GCW is played will change. You better get your thinkers together because I am looking for a playmate and if you don’t give me one I will beat you and beat you till you give me one. If you don’t understand that last statement then you are not the person I am looking for. If you do understand me I looking forward to the meeting of our minds. In my world the one that wins is the one with the longest attention span and lord do I have a long one.

It seems to me that you are short on doctors. Area poison and disease cures and revives are all close in activities and essential.

A lot of you have expressed concerns regarding medical support and Strike Force composition. I assure those not in the know that the Medical Support staff has boiled down a process to deal with any and every medical emergency that will come up. This I cannot go into detail about but I can say that it is a well run and oiled machine. These Doctor’s and Combat Medic’s know what they are doing and have been grilled on every aspect of their assignment. Do not let that stop you from offering up suggestions on how to handle the Medical staff and their abilities. You suggestions are more than welcome and encouraged.

A good team can get by without using much medical support at all... and I mean even without novice medic in anyones template.

That is true but having a skilled and well trained Medical staff with a “process” is much better than not having one. These folks have come up with something that will make your mouths water. You will never want again.

Man I so want to watch this happen. I'm on Scylla...please please please let me watch. I don't eat much, I don't know the difference between wrong and right, and I have an alt so no one will know its me. (also I posted the base slice guise so I would be more than happy to answer questions for the slice team as they arrive)

Actually I wouldnt mind watching that as well...
I can make a neutral toon real quick and go sit on the hill to watch... just like the Civil war!
