I just wanted to say that I cancelled my primary account. I created Court Jester back in 2003 and found I wanted to be a Master Weaponsmith and Master Fencer. I thought for certain that wound gain me access to Jedi. Boy was I wrong.

Eventually I discovered I wasn't cut out for crafting and melee wasn't for me. To benefit my guild and to suit my play style I went Master Squad Leader. Through good, bad, and everything else I managed to master. I was one of only a handful to finish back when the xp was horrifically nerfed for us and I held on to SL for a long time.

Through the past (almost) 2 years I've mastered Squad Leader a total of 4 times now between 2 toons. On April 19th I mastered SL for the last time on Court. Today I cancelled him.

I know this post won't mean much to many people but I'm hoping its a new beginning for me. I'm not excited about the curb and its honestly the reason I cancelled one of my toons. The Squad Leader forums are where I initially started posting on that account and it only seems fitting that here is where I start on this account.

Thanks man. I knew I was going to loose the ability to post on my primary forum name account with the removal of my paid subscription. For me this is more starting anew and hopefully things will work out. If not I'll have very fond memories of this game the way I used to play it.

The Squad Leader profession will always have a special spot reserved in my bio. And I'll never forget the first time someone in group said "You're a squad leader? Ok, we have to keep him alive!" and he ment it. I'll always remember the first time I boost'd with black bar'd hams and pissed off everyone in my group (thank god the guild I'm in is based on friendship hahah). Or how rally prevents entertainers from afk'ing, docs from rez'ing, and generally all the broken effects associated with it. Or hell, how about retreat screwing up Jedi (god it cracks me up, and I have a Jedi). And for the life of me, volley fire just never seemed to work when 95% of your group is melee. What good is it if the target is 45 m away and everyone turns and just looks?

I just can't justify paying for 2 accounts any more. And my wife is going through similar issues. Fond memories.
