Is there any reason to respec with SL as a skill? I was a CM/Pistoleer way back and loved it. I wanted to compliment those skills with SL but was waiting until after the CU to do so.

Will there be ANY parts of this profession that would make a combat support character fun?

Yeah 0400 is good for defense and also the Volley Fire attack which seems to be fixed. I've also spent the rest of my skillpoints on either 0422 or 0404 to get some extra group defense and accuracy mods.

I made my bh, go mbh, mcarbineer, and 0/4/0/4, that gives more general speed and accuracy and more ranged and melee defense. Only down side is with those skills your one crappy squad leader.

And mine as well, with FS Ranged Speed thrown in to use the final 4 skill points.

On a side note, I used the respec to grab the Tactics line because getting that much combat XP would suck, and I already needed 340k for Master BH. So I went up the BH Carbines line three times, twice respecing it to fill in x4xx and xxx4 in SL.
