Thread: Respec to SL?

I was thinking about trying squadleader in my respec since I never have given it a go.
Do I need to grind the survival branch or can I choose that branch as part of my full template respec??

Not really sure how the conversion works. But the Survival branch now (IN CU) takes regular Scout XP, not Wilderness Survival, so gaining Survival 4 takes 1/100the the time it used to.

Elite converts to elite and novice converts to novice. So if you have novice boxes somewhere in medic, brawler, marksman or scout you can convert them to comparable boxes in survival. Then you can convert elite prof points into SL if you want.
My suggestion is to wait on your respec for a little while and see how things turn out. SL isn't in great shape right now, but at least as of today's publish it is getting a little better.

Heh. The CU: New and Improved -It doesn't hurt nearly as much as a fork in the eye!

I thought only combat points could be respec'ed. If not then that will make my transition a little easier to starting towards SL.

Can anyone CONFIRM if Medic boxes can be RESPEC'd to something else? Tiggs listed it once as possible and once as not possible in a thread on the Temp CU forum.
I'd love a definitive answer on this, for like people who are dropping Doctor and want to drop Medic also to get more of another Combat Prof.

I was goingto gosmuggler carbineer and then decided to do squad leader carbineer. I dropped my brawler 4XXX xp into scout XXX4. I already had scout 4XXX so now I have 4XX4.

Medic can be converted if you didn't figure it out already.
