I've been Rifleman for quite a while, although recently respeced to Carbineer.
I suppose i'll rephrase my question, what are the advantages of either combined with SL?
OR In your opinion, which is the most fun and well-rounded.

You can't end it. It has to do with a couple little things called "playstyle" and "personal preference".
Sounds like you're just trying to figure out the best way to become the next 1337 d00d. Shame.

It really depends onif you look better in recon armor or battle armor.
I am a M Rifle/MSL and it works for me b/c I like to be able to see what my entire squad is doing, very easy at optimum rifle range. As far as better mods, not sure what is better on paper, but rifle is a big time damage dealer.

Playstyle is really the key.
If you like being a huge damage dealer leading the nukers in your group stick rifles.
Carbineer is more crowd control which works well with the SLs sense of prepping targets for the groups digestion.
Personally I went MSL/MBH/0440 carbineer. But that is largely because I love apply KDs.

Well that was the answer I was looking for, it mixes better with SL.
Thanks
