Ok.....first of all im goin to slap a big W.T.F............

Ok SL exp based on group size is ok if you have at least1 pet, 1 driod and 3 faction pets.......

But guess what.....now there will be pet out at a time.........GD.....

Ruining 2 professions at the same time...

Great job.....

and then guess what...they are screwing with our FWG5's....so that makes it so i can solo every again without having my 1 pet out to tank since i cant shoot something 3 times before it gets to me..........

Props to SOE and the DEV's..........

Omg......

Instead of taking away faction pets you should add mopre for SL's because whats the use if your friends are at school and you have a day off to solo and you cant get Any SL exp what so-ever......

So all the professions i have are nerfed...now what...go for Rifleman or carbineer or what........

Im so used to my 1.8 speed Fwg5 that i cant stand shooting a rifle unless it is to something slow and i use the /aim and head shot combo to kill it...and if you miss your screwed in pvp !!!!

So commando........so every1 will cry nerf because every1 is using flamethrowers to kill their pets and at-st's

So.......What to do now...go around in hunting groups with no tank ???? or go and craft all day........

Heck i might take up musician or dancing..........

But then all you people who cried nerf......

and every SL that reads this post cry nerf to everything in the game until it gets set to what it was in the first place ( good except for a few un-wanted skills).......

thnx for reading my non-themed post !!!

What's the difference between a rifleman and a pistoleer? Riflemen know pistols; we have to. You obviously don't know jack about other combat professions. That or you don't care.

"since i cant shoot something 3 times before it gets to me.........."

Buy a rifle. Try that on for size. After you have determined that your "nerfed" gun is a godsend, come on back and post again.

How is it that having pets (faction or otherwise) makes you a Squad Leader? Let me get this straight, you want to be able to 'SOLO' your way throught the SL profession without actually LEADING anybody? Um... check thedictionary on what LEADER means. Sounds to me like you want to be a CH. [sarcasm] Excellent constructive post! Keep up the good work! I wish there was more people like you that made awsome threads like this! [/sarcasm]

While you are technically correct, you have no idea what it's like having to rely on other players for the opportunity to get ANY of your profession xp. Also, using pets requires strategy and coordination and in that way the CH / FactionPet extras are coordinated in an attack to destory the enemy.

Though the rant was not articulated as clearly as it may have been, he is right.

I can't count the number of times that I start out with a fairly sized group that has a good time...

Then, people have had their fun on Dathomir or decide that it is not for them and just run off or don't decide to return to the main group. This has the effect of whittling away the group and your SL xp. It's just normal behavior for most people I have discovered. (there have been RARE exceptions)

You can't solo your way to master SL, the sheer amount of xp required prohibits that (it's the same as the weapons trees for the sake of Peter!). But it's would be still nice to be able to have the chance to earn a little decent XP when there are "quiet" times on Dathomir.

I'm with NanoCrystal there. While the original post was pretty incoherent it applies to logic.

There's a time and place for big groups or pickup groups, but personally, I prefer hunting and leading small, specialized groups of people I'm used to working with regularly(read: SQUADS). When they aren't around, I have my ST Goon Squad. It's how I have fun in this game. I'm so geeky, I even hold conversations with good old GK-427 while I'm slapping together some emergency stims in camp. ("Can I help you, citizen?" "Nah, I just gotta fit this suspension in, then we can hit the road...")

So now that's gone and basically, those of us who are casual players, or prefer grouping with friends instead of complete strangers, are SOL because someone else's play style has defined the profession.

Hmm.

Not to sound rude here, but if you have trouble getting a good group together you have one of the following problems:

1) Need better/more reliable friends.

2) Need to join a guild.

3) Need to change professions, squad leader isn't for everybody.

Friend of mine got Master Squad Leader in a relatively short amount of time with the rest of our guild's help.

Then I asked him "What does your class do?" one day and he dumped it all and became a Bounty Hunter out of sheer inability to answer that question. I quit Master Chef the same day, as I couldn't answer that question either.

Good luck, fellas, your class needs love BAD.
