Squad Leader Archive

So I'm kinda new to the whole squad leader thing and am just kinda wetting my feet into controlling a larger group of players, so any advice would definetally be helpfull. How you guys set your radar, how you have dounf it best to issue orders etc etc.

I was also wondering what the SL weapon of choice generally is. I currently have carbineer and use a laser carbine (like many other carbineers out there). But I was thinking something with a closer ideal ranger (like an elite, or E11 carbine) would be better. Just thought I would get some thoughts.

Another thought that crossed my mind was armor, seeing as how out abilities drain the polls pretty heavily I was thiniking that armor would most likely be kinda out of the question (aside from a nice MK3 or something).

Gear is irrelevant, because SL is irrelevent. The armor doesnt matter, because you have no abilities worth using anyway. Fight like you would normally fight.

Gear and Items to carry in abundance for s SquadLeader.

At the very least carry a couple of MK 3 shield Gens at all times. More if you can afford them as well. I prefer 6 or 7. Have a couple made specifically for Kenetics, saves me many times all ready. Have a few for energy as well.

Carry a few different weapons, cjange them according to what your hunting at the time. Ran into somethings last night that were 100% resist acid, so the DX2 i prefer was out and my old scoutblaster was in. changed several times while fighting different creatures.

Carry camps, get an aritisan to make them for you in a factory. saves a lot of space.

If you hunt creatures harvest the meat and Hides all the time. Medics will love you for it.

Carry lots of camps. Always have at least 3ready, emergency camping is always comes in handy.
