Thread: My report on XP.

I went on a group hunt today, and in half an hour I maked out with 700k SL xp. This was grouping with around fifteen players and 2-3 pets doing missions on Dantoine.


This is not good.


Some of you may say "what are you talking about!!!1! That's teh l33t xp!1!!!one!" Well, quiet. Something given has no value, and we were just handed master SL on a silver platter.


We never had much incentive to move up before, save a desire to overcome the impossable. Now we have no incentive. I was just given a bonus to my /steadyaim and aquired /voleyfire and I still have 100k left over from a half hour's work, but it all means **edit**. So freaken what. There is no satisfaction there. Now when I use /volleyfire I won't think "This skill may suck, but by God, I earned it!" but instead "boy, this skill sucks."



What the hell was so wrong with the first system! Why did they mess it up twice?

I marked out from 0-1-0-0 to 3-4-0-0 under 2 hours. That's 1.6M xp and that is WAY to much. I must say this is as bad as when you got 3000xp for 2 hours playing. Seriously how hard can it be to balance it? btw, those 2 hours, most of that was spent running from team, to spaceport > traveling to trainer and then back to group, so all and all my guess is roughly 50min "hunting time" for 1.6M xp? again, way to much.
