Thread: My thoughts and suggestions on Squad Leader abilitys

Fixes:


1: Mods do not show up in the skill sheet skill mod section. If I am grouped and getting a bonus of some kind because of my presence and/or skill use, I would like to see some evidence of it. Perhaps an icon in the group windows (like rally adds) or adding the actual mods in the skill sheet would be good. I think more players should be aware of what having an SL is doing for them so they actually want to group with one.


2: Steady aim needs an icon like rally in the group stats box. (or does it only work for one shot? If so it needs to have a duration, its way too expensive to only last one shot)


3: Need to be able to turn off rally


4: boostmorale could revive incapped players to be actually useful and justify the high mind cost associated with it


Suggestions:


1: Adding the ability for squad leaders to "tame" (i.e. recruit)non-creature pets, either permanently in datapad (letting them have 1-3 pets as CH do) ormore "pets" if they are gone permanently once killed. This would help offset the weakness that most squad leaders suffer due to the non-fighting skillpoints spent on a combat-related class (as of now SL seems to be mostly an RP class since they are sacrificing character points that could actually have been spent on better weapon skills).


2: A speed buff for travelling (aside from mobility, retreat and terrain negotiation)
