Ill be seeing n00b-*bleep* MASTER SL's who got it in one night running around and having them think theyre just as good as me.

yeah, i been doing it for going on 4 months, how long you been at it junior.

i hate to be one who cries he's not getting enough XP...then crying theres too much. But seriously this is liek from -50 degrees to plus 200. I was one box away from master SL before the patch came....then the patch came and i got my box in one hour groupe don Endor...with only 2 peopel grouped with me, then a while later 2 more came(**edit**???). I was getting XP with 3 or 4 people that i used to get on dantooine grouped with SIXTEEN people.

anyways. Im glad it WAS fixed. But i just know im gonna hate seeing all these juniors zip up a profession i am proud to call myself master at (The few, the proud, the SL's).

So what?

If you want to be a squad leader, keep at it. For those people who are going to do it in an hour, let them, they probably don't want to be true squad leaders and will end up dropping the class since its totally tweaked and sysgroup is the only truely useful command. I can kill myself using things like /formup faster than a BH spamming eyeshot can.

They will probably drop it soon and only the true SL will remain. When they fix the class, I'm sure they will fix the XP.

Never ever ever be sure of anything with this game. Regardless of how it stacks out though...the community at least knows who's been at it and stuck with it. We have that kind of pride at least.

I am not quite Master (lack only a little though) and it took me months to get where I am - but in hindsight this has been advantage: I daresay I have learned how to lead a group efficently - even without SL-Skills that have been broken anyway...
I remember this situation in RL when I did some IT-certifications which have been nerfed afterwards due to braindumps that were available all over the web - the people whom I have to deal with however know that I have learned may trade whereas all those quick-achievers I know have been laid off due to lack of practice. I am confident that we have the same situation here!
