Hiya everyone! My first post here. Currently working on getting to Novice Squad Leader.

Am curious to know what other people are doing with the rest of their skills? I'm debating several options, mainly Pistoleer, Ranger,Creature Handler, or as far up a Dancer I can go. Also, is it worth getting Master Scout if I don't go Ranger?

If you Master in Pistoleer, Scout and SL, you will have 4 pts left over. This will not let you get novice artisan or novice medic.

I've tried.....

Also, any tips on getting SL XP? I'm trying to find a good way to get it. What animals are good to hunt in groups, that give good XP??

If you want to grind then hit Camp Tusken near Wayfar. I was getting 16,500 squad leader xp off of 1 Tusken King Kill. Easy to get groups of 20. If you don't want to grind then get in groups going to Lok or Endor.

Master SL

Master Rifleman

Novice Entertianer

Medic with first aid 2, the rest is up in the air.

I take the medic and entertainer because I like to keep my groups healed, and I don't always have the luxary of a medic in the group. That and I can easily heal anyone who's incaped, and stop anyone's bleeding. First Aid 2 is a MUST for anyone in a combat roll.

I chose SL and Rifleman... but now I wish I hadn't.

At present time this is a viable combination, only since SL skills are almost completely worthless so I don't bother doing them. When and IF they ever do work... I predict Rifleman/SL will be a poor combination because they both sap from your Mind pool... a LOT. Too much strain on one pool while doing specials is a bad thing.

If I were to start over I would have chosen Pistol/SL.

That and Mind cannot be healed at this time... its a triple whammy.

This is true. I moved my stats around to compensate for it though, and I'm having no problems. Not wearing armor also really helps out. The defensive benefits it give you to me don't outweigh the penalties to your stats for wearing them.
