Thread: Group XP Bonus and No bonus for pets
I'm not sure I agree that removing pets from groups should be included in this discussion, but the idea of a profession giving a group an xp bonus has been done reasonably well in other games and is usually refered to in "leadership"-type terms. So, yeah, it seems like an idea that would be reasonable...

An idea came to me. How about this?
We get a bonus to group xp. I.e. a group of 20 ppl kill a Kimologia and get a total of 60,000 diffrent weapon types of xp spread amongst them based on the damage that they did.
A group of 20 with a Squad leader commanding them kills the same Kimologia and they get a total of 80,000 diffrent weapon types of xp spread amongst them as above.
To stop this from being exploited and just used to solo I would support the removal of the pet's/droids/faction pets from counting in a group.
Your thoughts?
This has interesting possibilities. We would definitely want the xp bonus to start appearing higher up on the lines to prevent the things like an overabundance of BH players taking novice SL only and getting an xp bump.
But it would only be in effect (same as SL) when you were group leader and it would scale up as the squad leader scaled up.
I.e.
Novice - 2% bonus
Leadership I - 2% bonus
Leadership II - 2% bonus
Leadership III - 4% bonus
Leadership IV - 4% bonus
Master - 6% bonus
For a total of 20% exp bonus.
