Squad Leader Archive

I have mainly been focusing on the Ranger profession, and last night while I was out soloing on Lok, I get a system message about qualifying for Squad Leader. So I think to myself... Ranger/Squad Leader, not a bad combination of professions; speed and the ability to give it to my fellow team mates.

Now my question: Do I just have to be team leader to get SL experience?

I can hear some of you saying "just??"

Not much of a problem for me.

For anyone answering simple questions I also have one.

Do you get Squad Leader experience when grouped only with your pet or do you have to be grouped with other actual PC's?

Squad Leader XP is as follows:

Combat XP * # of people in group * 2.

So yes, being group leader will get you XP, as long as you do at least some combat damage.

And yes, pets count as a group for these purposes (I think they shouldn't, but whatever)
