I find it funny that our class is pretty much completely useless and yet we (to my knowledge) have not heard a single word from the devs on how they are going to address our problems. I noticed we were absent from the large "in development" list...

CaptV? Have you heard anything?

It's getting tiresome that strangers in town see my SL title and all they offer is pity for the bad choice I made. Of course, like most other SLs, the only benefits I offer to a group are my leadership skills... but I would be just as effective as an entertainer making plans.

Don't get mad at him Captain, this is the first post you've made where you've actually answered the question (no the question is not answered in the thread you direct us to above)...although this answer is kind of indirect. For those who haven't translated Captain's message above, the answer is...

I have said it before, and I'll say it again. If you don't like SL the way it is (and almost nobody does) and you can't bear to play it the way it is, you are best off playing something else. I have never seen a class made stronger. Notice that MMO slang includes the word "nerf" but no slang word for the opposite. It doesn't happen...or if it does, it is rare enough that I've never heard of it and the community doesn't have slang for it. Notice what they are doing on the test server to "fix" pvp...they nerfed damage in pvp. Anyone getting deja vu?

Anyway, I have been having fun playing SL...I'd like to see it fixed, I'd like to see some more reasonable skills added, but I'm not playing SL in hopes that someday it will change. At best we'll seea few bugs in SL will be fixed, a few other profs will be nerfed and we might gain equality that way.

That's my prediction...I'd love to be pleasently surprised.

I agree with Nochmal to some extent, but I have seen classes get upgraded at the release of newexpansions in other MMORG's with new spells, abilities, etc... I feel the current release is just paid Beta 4, and thatthey will hopefully upgrade the class down the road. Right now, all that I am seeing for the most part are bug patches and some class nerfing.

The Dev's have made a lot of announcements on the Currently In Testing boards for other classes, but we are not mentioned yet. It does sound like they are going through an in-depth (not a 5 minute thing) process to determine what each class needs and such.

well we definetly arent broken but we might as well be, in fact that would be better becasue than at least something wouldd happen to us.
